The Benefit Of Each Ingredients

1. Sunflower Oil

Sunflower oil is a natural moisturizer that can help to soften and soothe dry, chapped lips.

It’s also effective at softening other parts of the body like elbows or knees. Sunflower oil contains antioxidants and vitamin E which help to fight free radicals that cause premature aging.

It is rich in omega 6 fatty acids (linoleic acid) which are essential for maintaining healthy skin cells.

2. Sweet Almond Oil

Sweet almond oil is rich in vitamin E and other antioxidants that are beneficial for the skin. It is an emollient, meaning it helps to soften and moisturize the skin.

It contains omega 3 fatty acids which are good for your hair, nails, and skin in general. It can help with chapped lips as it has a light moisturizing effect on them.

3. Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter has a natural SPF of 3, which is perfect for winter. It also moisturizes and soothes the lips. Cocoa butter for lips is a great way to keep your lips soft and moisturized.

4. Beeswax

Beeswax has many benefits for the lips, including helping them stay healthy and protecting them from sunburns.

Beeswax helps protect the lips from cold weather, which is why it’s often used in winter months when the air may be dryer.

Beeswax can also help heal chapped or cracked lips, especially if they are caused by extreme temperatures, sunburns, or windy days.

How To Make Tinted Lip Balm At Home And Beetroot Lip Balm Recipe

Sunflower oil 7g

Sweet almond oil 5g

Cocoa butter 5 g

Beeswax 6 g

Red coloring or Beetroot powder 0.3g

1. The first step is to mix all the ingredients except the coloring in a beaker.

2. The second step is to melt the oils, beeswax and cocoa butter together in a double boiler or microwave.

3. Once they are melted, add the coloring and stir until mixed thoroughly.

4. Lastly pour the mixture into lip balm tubes or tins and allow them to cool for about 15 minutes or more before using them.

Actually I prefer to use lip coloring than beetroot powder because beetroot powder do not soluble in oils so it make the color gritty and not pretty when apply to the lips.

But if you don’t mind the gritty powder, you still can use beetroot powder.

So, that’s all for now. Hope it helps ya.

Have a great day!
